How to hide any file or folder on Android within 3 seconds without any app?

Lots of android users might be using different type of applications to secure their private files and folders. There are bunch of apps available on Google Playstore using which you can safely lock or hide your personal or private folders.

Today I will tell you a trick by which you can lock any file or folder very easily​ and instantly.

Select the folder you want to hide.

Step 1: Open your file manager and choose the folder you want to hide.

Add a dot(.) before the folder name and save.

Step 2 : After choosing the folder go to rename option and add a "."(Dot) before the file name and save it. Got confused!!?? Let me make it as simple as water. Suppose I want to hide " images" folder so I will have to rename it to ". images" from "images" and the folder will be hidden instantly.

How does it work?

Android Operating System is based on Linux so whenever we add a "." before any folder's name it is treated as a system folder and in Linux all system folders are used to be hidden by default.

How to unhide the hidden folder?

Go to your smartphone's System settings.

Disable the " Hide system files" option.

To unhide the hidden folder go to your smartphone's system settings or file manager settings and remove the tick mark from "Hide system files" option. You will get the folder back immediately.
