OnePlus planned skipping OnePlus 4, to launch OnePlus 5 directly

OnePlus is popular for launching flagship killer smartphones at affordable price. Recently launched OnePlus 3T received huge acclaim for its camera and great performance. OnePlus 3T was an upgraded version of OnePlus 3.


OnePlus 3T’s successor is rumored to arrive with OnePlus 5 instead of OnePlus 4. Surprisingly OnePlus decided to skip the OnePlus 4 and the name of its upcoming flagship killer smartphone will be OnePlus 5 which is expected to come with a combination of aluminum and glass chassis along with a dual-edge curved display like Samsung S7 Edge. There is nothing official but according to primary leaks OnePlus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830/835 chipset,

Moto G5 Plus is set to be launched in India on 15 March

Lenevo schedules Moto G5 Plus launch event in INDIA on 15 March at Delhi.



After last year's blockbuster success of  Moto G4 Plus Lenevo renews its strategy with latest Moto G5 Plus which was just launched in the Mobile World Congress. Lenevo confirmed the entry of  Moto G5 Plus in India on 15 March in Delhi.


Moto G4 Plus was heavily appreciated for its excellent camera performance. It is still supposed to be the best camera smartphone under INR 15,000. There are lot of expectations regarding the camera performance of upcoming Moto G5 Plus. The device has an excellent camera setup. Lets wait and watch whether it can meet with the expectations of Moto fans or not.

Moto G5 Plus has been priced at $230(INR 15,400) for the 2GB RAM & 32GB storage model, and EUR 280 (INR 19,600) for the 3GB RAM & 32GB storage variant. The price of the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant yet not announced.

Lenovo launched Moto G5 in the MWC

Lenovo launched Moto G5 in the Mobile World Congress.


Lenovo confirmed the entry of Moto G5 Plus in India after launching Moto G5 and G5 Plus in Mobile World Congress but there is no confirmation about the launch of Moto G5 in India. We expect it to enter after the official launch of G5 Plus. Moto G5 will be available in Fine Gold and Lunar Gray colors.

Samsung released its first Exynos 9 Series chipset Exynos 8895

SAMSUNG launched its first Exynos 9 Series chipset Exynos 8895  Octa-Core Processor.

 

The Exynos 8895 OctaCore chipset based on 10 nm FinFET technology brings 27% improvements in performance and 40% lower power consumption. The SoC consists of four 2nd generation custom cores and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. It is backed by Mali-G71 MP20 GPU

After the Note 7 fiasco SAMSUNG is gearing up for its Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus smartphones which are scheduled to be launched on 29th March. So far what we know about S8 & S8 Plus specifications are mentioned below.


S8 & S8 Plus will be powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SOC based on 10nm FinFET Technology and 4 GB or 6 GB LPDDR dual channel RAM. Samsung is the key manufacturer of Snapdragon 835 chipset. In India S8 & S8 Plus will be powered by Samsung's own Exynos 8895 Octa-Core chipset instead of Snapdragon 835.There will be 32 GB or 64 GB UFS 2.0 native storage which will be expandable up to 256 GB via micro sd card.

Galaxy S8 is expected to come with a 5.8 inch quad HD(2560 x 1440 pixels) screen and S8 Plus with a 6.2 inch quad HD(2560 x 1440 pixels) screen. The S8 Plus would be flanked with 12 MP dual-pixel rear camera. For selfies, it would be equipped with 8 MP autofocus camera. S8 Plus also features 4G LTE, IP68 certification, iris scanner. The S8 and S8 Plus are expected to come with earphones by AKG, a brand by Harman(JBL). Both these smartphones will be sailing on Android Nougat 7.0 and will be powered by 3200 mAh battery.

The price of S8 Plus will be INR 60,000 approximately.
