Redmi Note 5 with 5.99 inch 18:9 display, dual rear camera listed on JD.com.

Xiaomi recently announced a permanent price cut on two Redmi Note 4 varinats as the Redmi Note 5 is coming soon. Redmi Note 4 3GB + 32GB variant is now available at Rs. 9,999 where as the 4GB + 64GB variant of Redmi Note 4 is available at Rs. 11,999 in India. Earlier the Redmi Note 5 was spotted on the Chinese certification site TEENA and now Redmi Note 5 has been listed on popular Chinese e-commerce website JD.com. The Redmi Note 5 will be launched in China as well as India very soon.

Redmi Note 5 will be the first near bezel less Redmi device with 18:9 aspect ratio just like Samsung Note 8, LG Q6, iPhone X and many recently launched smartphones. Redmi Note 5 will have a 5.99 inch FHD+ IPS display with 1080x2160 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to be powered by new 2.2 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset built on 14 nm architecture. So the battery will last for long days. There will be two variants of the Redmi Note 5: one with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage another with 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. However the storage can be expanded up to 128 using hybrid slot.

Redmi Note 5 will sport dual rear camera setup at the rear side with one 16 MP Phase detection auto focus regular sensor having large 1.25 micron pixel with f/2.0 aperture along with another 5 MP depth sensor for creating shallow depth of field. The low light photography is expected to be better on the device due to large 1.25 micron pixel and narrow f/2.0 aperture which will let enter more light. For selfies there will be an 8 MP camera. The fingerprint sensor will sit underneath the dual camera setup at the rear side of the phone.

Redmi Note 5 will have a large 4000 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support. According to the rumors Redmi Note 5 will adopt USC Type ~ C for fast charging. The Bluetooth version on Redmi Note 5 is rumored to be of latest 5.0.

Though the price of the Redmi Note 5 is not disclosed yet but we can expect the price for the 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage of Redmi Note 5 will be 11,999 and price for the 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage of Redmi Note 5 will be 13,999 in India.
