SAMSUNG launched its first Exynos 9 Series chipset Exynos 8895 Octa-Core Processor.
The Exynos 8895 OctaCore chipset based on 10 nm FinFET technology brings 27% improvements in performance and 40% lower power consumption. The SoC consists of four 2nd generation custom cores and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. It is backed by Mali-G71 MP20 GPU
The Exynos 8895 chipset has Cat 16 LTE modem which supports up to 1 Gbps download speed and 150 Mbps upload speed. According to Samsung this chipset comes with advanced Multi-Format Codec and supports 4K Ultra HD video recording and can play videos at 120fps. Exynos 8895 supports up to 28 MP rear camera and front camera as well as a combination of a 28MP and 16MP dual-camera setup.
